organize and enjoy your memories

April 25, 2014

Travel Catalog no. 1

Are you back from spring break – relaxed, refreshed, and perhaps enjoying the return to a sense of routine?  Are you also overwhelmed by the photos you took on your vacation that are still living in your camera or sitting neglected on your hard drive?  Here is a little inspiration to do something with those photos in these short months before summer is upon us!

A month-long visit to New Zealand certainly was certainly a good reason to make this photo book.  Wanting to capture the stories while the memories were still fresh, I worked with this seasoned traveller to document the highlights of her family travels.

Travel Photo Book with Itinerary Map | SuzanneOBrienStudio.com
By including the itinerary, a hotel summary, and highlights of each region alongside the beautiful photos, this book was designed to trigger memories for the family and serve as a reference guide for friends who might be interested in a similar trip.

We printed this book with a softcover, as my client wanted wanted something super accessible that would be easy for the kids to pick up and flip through.  The premium glossy paper is reminiscent of a travel catalog –  I know I’m certainly inspired to visit this part of the world!

Looking for more inspiration?  Here are some links to other vacation-oriented photo book ideas that just may spark an idea…
