Last week I had the opportunity to photograph the event set-up for an amazing non-profit organization I’m happy to be involved with here in the Bay Area.  There with Care provides fundamental support services to families and children facing critical illness during medical crisis.

By relying on the enthusiasm and compassion of countless volunteers, the event space for their annual fundraiser was transformed into a magical Italian bistro under the stars..

The Executive Director, Jen Thurlow, has enough energy to fill the entire tent, I know I would love to see her smiling face come around the corner of my hospital room.

Here’s to kind people doing things big and small to improve the lives of others in our community.
