I love photographing women, especially mothers.  I’m excited by the notion that some day their children might come across a beautiful image of them and catch a glimpse into a different side of this person they call mom.

In honor Mothers Day this month, I’m launching a 31-day series celebrating a few of the amazing moms I’ve been fortunate enough to cross paths with this past year.  Some of them are old friends, many of them new.  Some were quickly snapped with my iPhone, others with my big camera.  All of them have inspired me in ways small and large.  

Here’s to strong, creative women who wear so many different hats, and even a tutu every now and then…
