One of my favorite things to include in birthday photo books are special notes written by the party guests.  It is a great way to blend the photos with meaningful words to tell the story of the event.  Whether it is a sweet note from an old friend…

or a message that reminds you of a fun night…

taking the time to do a little advance planning is always worth it. Simply scan the note and save it as a JPEG file. No scanner? No problem – snap a photo with your phone and call it a day.  As you design your book, incorporate your note just as you would your other photos.
