Looking Back

One of the great things about documenting the details of everyday life is that it allows you the opportunity to look back on how things have changed from time to time. A year ago today I was fresh off a foot surgery which left me with some fancy new hardware and a long road to recovery.

While this surgery was a big event in my life, it isn’t something I necessarily would have taken pictures of had I not been doing a “Photo A Day” Project Life last year. I can’t say I kept up with the project during the intense few weeks surrounding the surgery, but I did manage to take a few pictures such as this one.

I’m thrilled to be back out running again and although my foot is not 100%, today I’m grateful that I can look back and acknowledge that I sure feel a lot better than I did one year ago!
