In this season of gratitude I’m honored to share the stories of four amazing people I’m grateful to have met this year. First up, meet Almein, a soft spoken 15 year with a great smile who loves to doodle and build things. And a heart transplant recipient.Diagnosed with MD when he was 2, he was told he would be in a wheelchair by age 12. Clearly this fighter is going strong. When we met, Almein was 4 months into recovery from his heart transplant surgery.
