Those of you following me on Instagram know that my girl is off on the adventure of a lifetime in China right now.  Yesterday she arrived at her host family in Hangzhou where she will attend school for the week.  We wanted to send along a little piece of California to share with the 10-year-old girl she would be staying with and came up with this idea…

She selected her favorite San Francisco photo of mine, we added it to a 10×10 Memory Keeper box, personalized the spine and voila – a fun place for her host to keep special treasures and be reminded of her new friend from California.  The report from our now routine middle-of-the-night call was that the gift was very well-received!
